I bought the waterproof version in order to have a water resistant eyeliner, and to be liquid for achieving the perfect “wing” that all of us want to get. The tip is like a brush, but it’s not thin enough (it tickles me and makes my eyelid shake). The consistency is a bit runny. It doesn’t dry completely matte, but I don’t mind it, actually. Once it dries it doesn’t move. Although, after a couple of hours starts to crumble and cracks (I've seen this on the arm swatch, not on the lid). If the water hits when you touch it, fades or rubs off not leaving any trace of the eyeliner: so, as long as you don’t touch it, it’ll be fine (I tested it under cool and hot water). On my arm lasted more than 10 hours, but not intact like I mentioned, some cracks can be seen. The shade black I chose was really dark (some companies might tell you “black” and looks like more a dark gray).

When I applied it, for some reason, the brush cannot go smooth on some fine lines I have; went smoothly on a metallic-like eyeshadow. I don’t use this on my water-line. This is not a very long lasting eyeliner on its own nor completely waterproof on the waterline. I highly recommend pairing it with a black eyeshadow (for setting purposes only) when it's applied on the lid. 
If you have a shaking eyelid or tickles when you apply it, I recommend to use another brush: the one you feel very comfortable with.

Wear test:

(Note: you might notice the awful wing, the applicator when touched my skin made my lid tickled a little bit, also my lid was shaking afterwards. I tried to "fix" it, but I desisted in order to prevent a whole mess and start all over again. The important is not to see how "perfect" (or not) the wing was, it's how the product performs. Eyeshadows: L'Oréal Paris La Palette Nudes shade #3 as transition shade, all over the lid shade #3 from Rimmel London "keep calm & wear gold" eyeshadow palette. I forgot to take pictures with flash).

I cannot say if I recommend this product or not. I will try more times until I have an answer. I will try it again with brushes, for sure.
